ACHD Commissioners to consider a new Cost Share Ordinance

On Wednesday, June 22 at their 6 p.m. meeting, the ACHD Commissioners will consider a new Cost Share Ordinance that would give the Ada County Highway District the flexibility to work with individual cities to add things like landscaping, decorative street lighting and specialized colored pavements to future road projects.

Today, ACHD is limited by Idaho Law as to what it can add to a project – generally only those things that directly serve a transportation need.

The hearing will occur shortly after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in the ACHD Auditorium, 3775 Adams St., in Garden City. The Commission welcomes your participation. If you cannot attend the meeting in person, written comments can be sent to the projects@achdidaho.org or to ACHD Cost Share Ordinance, 3775 Adams St., Garden City, ID 83714.
