DEA National Drug Take-Back Day

On Saturday, April 30th, the Boise Police Dept., Ada County Sheriff’s Office, and Garden City Police will be participating in the Drug Enforcement Association’s (DEA’s) National Drug Take-Back Day.

This is an opportunity for you and your members to properly dispose of unused or out-dated medications that might otherwise end up in the wrong hands or in our water.

Collection locations will be:

1. Boise Police will be collecting unwanted medications in the front of the State Capitol;

2. Garden City Police will be collecting unwanted medications in the parking lot of the Garden City Walgreens – 6725 N. Glenwood;

3. Ada County Sheriff’s Office will be collection unwanted medications in the Eagle Albertson’s parking lot – 250 S. Eagle Road

The Sheriff’s Office will also be collecting in Kuna and the Meridian Police Dept. will be collecting at the St. Lukes Meridian site as well as at their headquarters on Water Tower Street, Meridian.

Collection will be from 10 AM – 2 PM on Saturday, April 30th. Please watch/listen for ads and additional collection locations. Attached is a billing insert that everyone in Boise, Garden City, and Eagle will be receiving.
