Notice is hereby given that the BOISE CITY COUNCIL will hold a public hearing on November 15, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. in the Boise City Hall Council Chambers. You are invited to attend the hearing, and anyone may offer oral or written comments for the Council’s consideration if the hearing is not an appeal. Any written testimony should identify the file number.
The City of Boise requests approval and adoption of Blueprint Boise, the City’s 2011 Comprehensive Plan replacing the City’s 1997 Comprehensive Plan. Blueprint Boise integrates the sixteen (16) statutory components required by Idaho Code §67-6508 as they may apply to land use regulations and actions: Property Rights; Population; School Facilities and Transportation; Economic Development; Land Use; Natural Resources; Hazardous Areas; Public Services, Facilities, and Utilities; Transportation; Recreation; Special Areas or Sites; Housing; Community Design; Agriculture; Implementation; and National Interest Electronic Transmission Corridors. The plan includes an updated future land use map with new future land use designations as well as an action plan for implementing the goals and policies outlined by the plan.
