I have received some calls recently of door-to-door salesmen selling home security systems and telling residents that crime has increased in that neighborhood.\u00a0\u00a0 So far, from the calls I have received and run crime reports on, that information has not<\/span> been accurate.\u00a0\u00a0 In fact, today I ran 2 reports for an area on the bench from January – mid-June 2009, and the same for 2010, and the reported crime totals were 119 in 2009, and 70 in 2010 – showing a significant decrease in crime.<\/div>\n
