Shamrock St., 83713<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofboise.org\/Departments\/Parks\/ParksAndFacilities\/Parks\/page16120.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Sunset Park<\/a>, 2625 N. 32<sup><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">nd<\/span><\/sup> St., 83703<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofboise.org\/Departments\/Parks\/ParksAndFacilities\/Parks\/page16129.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Winstead Park<\/a>, 6150 Northview St., 83704<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Except for Winstead Park, dogs would be allowed off leash during  early morning and\/or evening hours at parks selected for the pilot  project.<\/p>\n<p>To avoid conflicts with user groups and park reservations at Winstead  Park, dogs would be allowed off-leash during daylight hours from Nov.  1-March 31.<\/p>\n<p>Sites were identified based on current uses, scheduled activities,  geographic diversity, site access, parking, maintenance and financial  impacts.<\/p>\n<p>Existing regulations requiring owners to pick up after their pets  would still apply. Additional mutt mitt dispensers and trash cans would  be installed, and animal control officers and Boise Parks &amp;  Recreation staff would closely monitor compliance with the rules and  evaluate seasonal park use patterns.<\/p>\n<p>Neighborhood feedback is being gathered via:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Questionnaires mailed to nearby households<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/s\/DogOffLeashPilot-Boise\" target=\"_blank\">Online survey<\/a><\/li>\n<li>8 public meetings to be held Feb. 17-March 9<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Public meetings for each park have been scheduled from 6-7 p.m. at:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Feb. 17<\/strong>: Cypress Park \u2013 Trail Wind Elementary Cafeteria, 3701 E Lake Forest Drive<\/p>\n<p><strong>Feb. 22<\/strong>: Manitou Park \u2013 Garfield Elementary Cafeteria, 1914 S Broadway Ave.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Feb. 23<\/strong>: Winstead Park \u2013 Morley Nelson Community Center, 7701 W. Northview St.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Feb. 24<\/strong>: Redwood Park \u2013 Library at Ustick, 7557 W. Ustick Road<\/p>\n<p><strong>March 1<\/strong>: Castle Hills Park \u2013 Cynthia Mann Elementary School Library, 5401 W. Castle Drive<\/p>\n<p><strong>March 3<\/strong>: Hillside Park \u2013 Library at Collister, 4724 W. State St. (Hillside)<\/p>\n<p><strong>March 8<\/strong>: DeMeyer Park \u2013 Boise WaterShed, 11818 W Joplin Rd<\/p>\n<p><strong>March 9<\/strong>: Sunset Park \u2013 Library at Collister, 4724 W. State St.<\/p>\n<p>Feedback will be compiled for consideration by the Park &amp;  Recreation Commission. No start date has been established for the  one-year program.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, dogs must be leashed and owners must pick up after pets in all city parks. Parks are open from sunrise to sunset.<\/p>\n<p>The City of Boise operates dog off-leash parks at three sites:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofboise.org\/Departments\/Parks\/ParksAndFacilities\/Parks\/page16247.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Military Reserve Flood Basin<\/a>, \u00a0750 Mountain Cove Road (Northeast Boise)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofboise.org\/Departments\/Parks\/ParksAndFacilities\/Parks\/page16741.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Morris Hill Park<\/a>, \u00a010 Roosevelt St. (Boise Bench)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofboise.org\/Departments\/Parks\/ParksAndFacilities\/Parks\/page59325.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Pine Grove Park<\/a>, 8995 W.
