{"id":2981,"date":"2016-02-05T09:50:20","date_gmt":"2016-02-05T16:50:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wbnaboise.org\/?p=2981"},"modified":"2016-02-12T09:50:38","modified_gmt":"2016-02-12T16:50:38","slug":"proposed-changes-to-bylaws","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/wbnaboise.org\/?p=2981","title":{"rendered":"Proposed changes to Bylaws (Updated)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-90 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/wbnaboise.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/notebook.jpg\" alt=\"notebook\" width=\"153\" height=\"102\" srcset=\"http:\/\/wbnaboise.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/notebook.jpg 600w, http:\/\/wbnaboise.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/notebook-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 153px) 85vw, 153px\" \/><strong>I<\/strong>n order to facilitate voting by email on issues that might arise between regular meetings.The following changes have been proposed by the WBNA Board and approved by the City of Boise.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The following changes were adopted by unanimous vote at the annual member meeting Feb\/11\/2016.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Change to Article II section 3:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Voting\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Section 3.\u00a0 For purposes of voting, signing name and address in the \u201cOfficial Membership\u00a0Email\u00a0List\u201d shall evidence membership.\u00a0 Each member shall be entitled to one vote.\u00a0 There shall be no voting by proxy.\u00a0 Except as otherwise noted, a simple majority vote is needed to adopt any action.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">For purposes of voting by email, an email will be sent to the \u201cOfficial Membership Email List\u201d with the subject line containing \u201cNotification of ballot\u201d no less than 7 days before the vote is to be tallied. A Reply to the \u201cNotification of ballot\u201d email will serve as a ballot. A simple majority vote is needed to adopt any action.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">For the purpose of annual election of officers and any other annual meeting agenda items, Voting must be done in person at the annual meeting in February.
