Turn out was very good.almost all the seats were full.

The candidates stayed on topic and within time constraints, the evening was productive and informative.

Have a tree to donate?

The Downtown Boise Association is seeking suggestions from Boise City residents who would like to donate a large, live evergreen tree for the city’s holiday tree. To be considered, the tree must be between 20-35 feet and be readily accessible on your property.

A tree-lighting ceremony will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, in The Grove plaza in downtown Boise.

The City of Boise’s Community Forestry Unit assists with transport of the tree.

If you would like your tree to be considered, contact Geoff Hundt, Downtown Boise Association, via email at ghundt@downtownboise.org or 472-5252 by Nov. 1. Please include your name, address, email address and phone number.
